Creative thinking class for children through visual art. Children are gifted with extraordinary imaginations. It invites potential and possibility. Picasso once said that all children are born artists. The problem is to remain an artist as we grow up. Being creative allows one to be more flexible and to become a better problem solver. In creative thinking art class, we explore ideas and possibilities between unstructure play and imitating models. The class will be conducted in English or in French.

Basic technique drawing, understanding colours and its character with watercolour,gouache, acrylic, and pastels.
Basic Design
Exploring new possibilites with colours, composition, layout to express their ideas.
Sketchwalk
Exercise to observe surrounding, learning light and shadow, and taking essential notes on sketchbook with drawings.
Architecture
Raising children's awareness of architecture and their environment.
Registration is open for group of children 7-12 years old, subject to availability.
Spring semester
Thursday Class: 23 March 2023 - 22 June 2023 (10 sessions)
Friday Class: 24 March 2023 - 23 June 2023 (10 sessions)
Duration: 1 hour group lessons of 5 children maximum adapted to their capacity and wish.
Price: 160€ for total 10 sessions (one semester) or 20€ per session.
All materials are included, except student's sketchbook.
Material to bring: 1 sketchbook (A4 or A5 size). If your child already has one, he/she could bring it to the class.
Sketchbook is a personal tool to record thinking process, to take visual notes, and to explore ideas. It's not an exercise books. For children, sketchbooks should be fun, enjoyable, free, bursting with visual goodness and prompts. Literally a visual diary of ideas and experimentation. Children will take their sketchbook home and also to the atelier. They are free to share with the class their creative process, scribbles at home, colour swatches, doodles, notes, etc. Please let us know should you need to purchase one.
